Handguns, Support and Training

TYPES OF HANDGUNS:
– Gun actions:    (a)single shot,     (b)revolver,    (c) repeater,     (d) self-loading.
– Shooting categories:   (a) production (factory issue),          (b) revolver (factory issue),                    (c) unlimited (altered sights, longer barrels),            (d) scoped .

GUN SUPPORT AND SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS:
The Club does not hire guns.

Club gun support is provided via SSAA for members to own their guns after a set qualifying period. Legal and club requirements for minimum attendance apply for ongoing club support.

TRAINING:
–Shooting positions are either standing or freestyle (such as Creedmoor, see video and photos).

-Members shoot to a personal ranking.

-Members will learn to load ammunition to suit the match being shot and to save costs.

-Members will receive training in the safe handling of firearms.

NOTE: NO GUNS, AMMUNITION OR VALUABLES ARE STORED ON THE CLUB PREMISES.
